The 6-foot-3, 165-pound senior right-handed pitcher and second baseman had led the Scarlet Knights to an 11-2 record at the time of his selection. Keane owned a 6-0 record on the mound with a 0.88 earned run average, striking out 62 and issuing just seven walks in 32 innings pitched through 13 games. A member of the Swedish National Team, Keane owned a batting average of .300 with five doubles and 11 runs scored. The 2018 Merrimack Valley Conference MVP, he is ranked as the nation’s No. 174 prospect in the Class of 2019 by Perfect Game.
Keane has maintained a 3.36 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a national letter of intent to play baseball on scholarship at Northeastern University this fall.
Keane has volunteered locally with a baseball team made up of special-needs students, and he has donated his time to an elementary school literacy-outreach program as well as with the Special Olympics.
