The 6-foot-2, 165-pound senior forward led the Golden Hawks (22-2-1) to the fourth round of the Class 4A state tournament this past season. O’Laughlin finished with 41 goals, averaging 1.6 goals per game, and added 10 assists to earn 4A All-State honors. He was also a United Soccer Coaches Association All-American selection.
O’Laughlin has maintained a 3.58 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play soccer at Erskine College (S.C.) this fall.
A member of the Holly Springs High student leadership group, O’Laughlin has volunteered locally as a coach at youth soccer clinics. He has also donated his time to multiple community service initiatives through his church ministry youth group.
