The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 5-foot-6 junior midfielder scored 43 goals and passed for 15 assists this past season, leading the Huskies (15-1) to the Class 6A state quarterfinals. McLanahan scored four or more goals on eight occasions, including two games with five goals. A member of the U.S. Soccer Under-17 Women’s National Team, McLanahan is ranked as the nation’s No. 6 recruit in the Class of 2026 by TopDrawerSoccer.com. She concluded her junior year with a state-record 107 goals in her prep soccer career to go with 42 assists.
McLanahan has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. She has made a verbal commitment to play soccer at the University of Florida beginning in the fall of 2026.
McLanahan has volunteered locally with TOPSoccer, which benefits intellectually and physically challenged youth soccer players, and as a youth soccer coach. She has also donated her time as part of multiple community service initiatives through her church.
