The 5-foot-9 senior guard had led the Camels to a 14-8 record and a berth in the Class 4A state tournament quarterfinals at the time of her selection. Hladky averaged 22.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.7 steals, 3.5 assists and 1.3 blocks through 22 games, ranking in the Top 6 in all of Class 4A in all five categories. A three-time First Team All-State selection, Hladky was the 2018 Class 4A Player of the Year. She entered the state quarterfinals with 1,207 points in her prep basketball career.
Hladky has maintained a weighted 4.10 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball on scholarship at Metropolitan State University in Colorado beginning this fall.
Hladky’s brother, Trey, was the state’s Gatorade Boys Basketball Player of the Year in both 2016-17 and 2017-18. An All-State volleyball player, Rylee Hladky has volunteered locally as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army and as a youth basketball and volleyball coach.
