The 5-foot-3 senior left-handed pitcher compiled a 21-1 record with a 0.64 earned run average this past season, leading the Broncos (24-2-1) to the Central Section, Division I Tournament quarterfinals. Maddox struck out 281 batters in 152 innings while allowing just 65 hits and 22 walks. Ranked as the nation’s No. 3 prospect in the Class of 2023 by MaxPreps.com, she posted a .420 batting average with 28 runs scored, 13 extra-base hits and a .625 slugging percentage.
Maddox has maintained a weighted 3.96 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play softball on scholarship at the University of Arizona this fall.
A four-year member of the Clovis North Athletic Leadership Council, Maddox has volunteered locally at a homeless shelter. She has also donated her time to multiple community service activities through ASSISTEENS League of Fresno, a group that trains teenagers in philanthropic work, fundraising and leadership skills.
