The 6-foot, 185-pound senior hurdler set a state record in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles at the state Meet of Champions this past season and his time of 51.72 seconds ranked No. 9 nationally among prep boys competitors this spring. Kyle won the 400 hurdles, 110-meter high hurdles and the decathlon at the Division 1 state meet, leading the Ghosts to a 13th-place finish as a team. He concluded his spring by taking ninth in the 400 hurdles at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor.
Kyle has maintained a 3.27 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to compete at the University of Rhode Island this fall.
Kyle has volunteered locally on behalf of the Special Olympics and as a youth football and basketball coach.
