The 5-foot-7 junior middle distance runner broke a 29-year-old state record in the 800-meter run and led the Trojans to a seventh place finish at the Class AA state meet this spring. Stauber won the 800 with a time of 2:06.50, eclipsing the previous mark
Stauber has maintained an A-minus average in the classroom.
A member of the National Honor Society, she has volunteered locally as a peer tutor and as a youth soccer and track & field coach.
