The 6-foot-1 senior right-handed pitcher led the Skyhawks (33-0) to a perfect season and the Class B state championship this past season. Meylan posted a 17-0 record with a 0.41 ERA, striking out 180 batters in 86 innings pitched while walking just 16. Co-captain of the Lincoln Journal Star Super-State team, she also batted .537 with 18 home runs and 44 RBI. An Omaha World-Herald All-Nebraska First Team honoree, she’s ranked as the nation’s No. 14 prospect in the Class of 2022 by Extra Inning Softball.
Meylan has maintained a weighted 4.18 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball on scholarship at the University of Washington this fall.
A member of her school’s Student Council, Meylan has volunteered locally on behalf of the Big Hawks mentoring program and youth summer camps.
