“There is a long history of rivalry between my school and Grace Christian—kind of like competing siblings. I have followed Robbie since middle school. He has always been an amazing athlete. It was a given that Grace Christian was going to score a ton of points with him. Our team needed to plan to score points in other events. I am not surprised that Robbie would be considered for this award.  He is a strong, passionate runner with great instincts and drive.”

Athletic Excellence

The 6-foot-1, 145-pound senior middle distance and distance talent swept the 800-, 1600- and 3200-meter events at the Division 2 state meet this past season, leading the Grizzlies to second place as a team. At the Palmer Invite in May, Annett clocked a season-best time of 4:19.69 in the 1600 and dropped a personal-best 9:26.16 in the 3200, which ranked No. 1 in the state in 2025. A two-time Alaska Gatorade Boys Cross Country Player of the Year, he captured seven individual state titles across indoor and outdoor track in his prep career.
