Athletic Excellence

The 5-foot-6 junior raced to the Division 1 individual state championship this past season with a time of 19:05.9. The state's 2014-15 Gatorade Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year, Schwartz also won the Lamoille Lancer Invitational and the Northern Vermont Athletic Conference Mountain Division championships while placing third at the Woods Trail Run.

Academic Achievement

Schwartz has maintained a weighted 4.15 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.

Exemplary Character

Also a talented Nordic skier and violinist, Schwartz has volunteered locally on behalf of environmental education initiatives.
