“Ren had a tremendous season and showed an extremely high level of competitiveness in our four matchups against St. John’s. On the mound, he worked with a quick tempo, challenged hitters with high velocity and effective off-speed. He was a vocal leader who clearly inspired his teammates when he was on the mound. In addition, he brought another dimension to his game this year with his production offensively.”
