The 6-foot-3, 205-pound junior left-handed pitcher led the Pacers to a 25-6 record, a first-place finish in the 6A Three Rivers League and a trip to the 6A state semifinals. Wilson finished with a 9-2 on the mound with one save and an ERA of 0.74. He struck out 155 and walked 30 in 65 2/3 innings pitched. Also a first baseman and an outfielder, he batted .358 with five home runs and 34 RBI, scoring 25 runs.
Wilson has maintained a B average in the classroom. He has made a verbal commitment to play baseball on scholarship at Oregon State University beginning in the fall of 2023.
The son of former Major League pitcher Trevor Wilson, he has volunteered locally as an instructor at Lakeridge youth baseball camps. He also has donated his time, along with teammates, by visiting with residents of a local senior care facility at an annual Valentine’s Day dance.
