The 5-foot-11, 165-pound junior guard led the Timberwolves to a 24-5 record and a third 6A state championship in five years this past season. He averaged 19.6 points while shooting 52.5 percent from the floor and 51.2 percent from beyond the arc and pulled down 4.1 rebounds per game. Vialva scored 27 points in Tualatin’s 70-69 state championship win over Central Catholic, hitting a pair of 3-pointers in the final 6.1 seconds to help the Timberwolves erase a seven-point deficit with less than a minute remaining. He is a three-time First Team Three Rivers League selection.
Vialva has maintained a 3.56 GPA in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.
A member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Vialva has volunteered locally with Tualatin High’s Unified Basketball squad, which pairs student-athletes with intellectually challenged peers in celebration of sport.
