The 5-foot-9, 145-pound senior defender led the Trojans to a 16-0 record and the Division I state championship this past season. Patterson led a back third unit that conceded just two goals and recorded 14 shutouts. He also scored five goals and passed for three assists. The Oahu Interscholastic Association West Player of the Year, he was the ScoringLive.com All-Hawaii Defensive Player of the Year.
Patterson has maintained an unweighted 4.09 GPA in the classroom and ranks No. 1 in his class. He has signed a national letter of intent to play soccer on scholarship at California State University San Marcos this fall.
Patterson has volunteered locally at the Nanaikapono Protestant Church Food Pantry and with a middle school transition program that prepares students for high school. He has also donated his time as a coach with the Special Olympics of Hawaii.
