The 5-foot-11, 170-pound senior catcher batted .355 with 16 RBI and a .525 slugging percentage, leading the Owls (14-4) to the Division I state final this past season. Also the 2015 Interscholastic League of Honolulu Player of the Year, Shackles batted .4
Shackles has maintained a 3.0 GPA in the classroom.
A talented artist, his work has been showcased as part of the Mid-Pacific School of the Arts certificate program and he has volunteered locally on behalf of his church community.
