The 5-foot-6 senior won three individual events at the Division 1 state meet this past season, leading the Wolfpack to the state title as a team. The state’s reigning Gatorade Player of the Year in girls cross country, Bailey won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.92, broke the tape in the 1600 in 5:00.28 and took the 3200 in 10:46.54. She was named the Outstanding Female Athlete at the state championship meet.
Bailey has maintained a 4.09 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to run on scholarship at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks this fall.
A youth leader at her church, Bailey has served as a mentor for elementary school children.
