The 6-foot-6, 200-pound junior guard led the Cougars to a 17-8 record and the Class 5A state championship this past season. Greig averaged 15.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.7 steals while connecting on 40.3 percent of his 3-point shots. He totaled 18 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals in Coronado’s 60-55 win over Liberty High in the state final. A transfer from Archbishop Carroll (Pa.) High, he was a First Team All-State selection.
Greig has maintained a B average in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.
A sports representative on the Coronado High student council, Greig has volunteered locally with the Special Olympics and the National Charity League.
