The 5-foot-7 senior set two state records and won four individual titles at the Class 6A state meet this past season, leading the Spartans to a fifth-place finish as a team. Davis set a new Alabama standard in the high jump with a clearance of 6-feet, which ranked No. 2 nationally among girls prep competitors in 2023. She also won the long jump with a leap of 20 feet, 8.25 inches, which ranked No. 4 nationally. Her state-title-winning performances in the 100- and 200-meter dashes both ranked in the nation’s top 75 clockings this spring.
Davis has maintained a 3.92 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete on scholarship at the University of Kentucky this fall.
A member of the Saraland High National Honor Society, Davis has volunteered locally at the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Alabama and at a church summer camp. She has also donated her time to Nobles Group Homes, which provides residential services for people with intellectual challenges, and to LEAPs (Ladies Exploring All Possibilities), a mentoring group that serves at-risk females ages 8-18.
