“Mitchell is a leader on the court and in the hallways.Arnold Palmer's father told him, "If you're good you don't have to tell people, because you will show people." I think that statement can best describe Mitchell Hahn on and off the court. Mitchell is one of our most decorated boys' basketball players in the history of our school, but the great thing about Mitchell, you would never know this by his attitude. Mitchell is a leader on the court and in the hallways. He has the type of personality and demeanor that makes you want to cheer for him. Mitchell has a well-developed sense of right and wrong and is not afraid to express his opinions; even when going along with the crowd would be easier. Mitchell is the type of person that will write letters to the 4th graders within our basketball program and talk about effort, desire and determination. When a player will do that for your program, the 4th graders receiving those letters dream about being our next Mitchell Hahn. Mitchell is an example about what is right with today's high school student. He is organized, motivated and goes about his life with an ever present smile on his face. By showing these characteristics, Mitchell has earned the respect of not only myself, but that of administrators, teachers and fellow students as well. ”
