The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 5-foot-11, 175-pound senior quarterback led the Gaels to a 12-0 record and the Class 5A state championship this past season. Alejado passed for 2,714 yards and 35 touchdowns without throwing an interception, completing 144-of-186 attempts (77.4 percent). He also rushed for 261 yards and three scores. A three-time First Team All-State selection, Alejado was the 2022 MaxPreps National Junior of the Year. He concluded his prep football career with 9,061 passing yards and 124 touchdowns.
Alejado has maintained a weighted 3.07 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play football on scholarship at the University of Hawaii this fall.
Alejado has volunteered locally making gift baskets for the less fortunate and as a youth math tutor. He has also donated his time to St. Jude Food Bank in his native Hawaii.
