The 6-foot-1 senior outside hitter compiled 444 kills and 210 digs this past season, leading the Lancers (35-12) to the Division 1 state semifinals. Wucherer also tallied 50 service aces and 30 blocks while posting a kill percentage of .536 and a hitting percentage of .414. A 2021 American Volleyball Coaches Association First Team All-American selection, Wucherer missed 19 matches during the season while winning a bronze medal at the Under-18 World Championships in Mexico with the U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team. Ranked as the nation’s No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2022 by both PrepDig.com and PrepVolleyball.com, she concluded her prep volleyball career with 2,028 kills and 1,076 digs.
Wucherer has maintained a weighted 4.17 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball on scholarship at the University of Minnesota this fall.
A member of the National Spanish language Honor Society and the BCHS Blue Crew student-athlete leadership organization, Wucherer has volunteered on behalf of Feed the Families in association with the Brookfield Food Pantry and for Soles for Jesus, which provides footwear for the needy in Africa. She has also donated her time with the House of Peace food pantry and a variety of breast cancer awareness foundations in addition to coaching youth volleyball athletes at the club and public school level.
