Athletic Excellence

The 6-foot-1, 165-pound senior right-handed pitcher had posted a 4-0 record with a 0.60 ERA and 65 strikeouts in 35 innings, leading the Mustangs to an 7-8 record at the time of his selection. Ranked as the state's No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2017 by Perfect Game, Tabor fired a three-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts against Buckingham Browne & Nichols School earlier this month.

Academic Achievement

Tabor has maintained a B average in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball on scholarship at Elon University this fall, but is projected as an early round selection in June's Major League Baseball draft.

Tabor has served as a residence hall leader in his campus dormitory and as president of his school's conservative club.
