Athletic Excellence

The 5-foot-4 senior right-handed pitcher and shortstop had led the Storm to a 21-1 record at the time of her selection. Olson owned a 10-0 mark in the circle with a 0.36 earned run average and 114 strikeouts in 58.1 innings pitched through 22 games. She had allowed 19 hits and walked 14. At the plate, the 2016 First Team All-State selection had posted a .551 batting average with 10 doubles, four home runs, 22 RBI and an .870 slugging percentage.

Academic Achievement

Olson has maintained a 3.97 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play softball on scholarship at the University of Connecticut beginning this fall.

Exemplary Character

Olson has volunteered locally as a youth softball, soccer and basketball coach, and she has donated her time as part of multiple community-service initiatives through the Chanhassen High National Honor Society.
