The 5-foot-11 senior right-handed pitcher led the Falcons to a 27-5 record and a third-place finish in the Class 2 state tournament this past season. Kliethermes compiled a 21-2 record with a 0.57 ERA, and batted .518 with three home runs and 28 RBI. She surrendered just 47 hits and 31 walks in 134.1 innings pitched, while striking out 300 batters (2.23 per inning). A two-time First Team All-State selection, Kliethermes is ranked as the nation’s No. 28 recruit in the Class of 2019 by Softball America.
Kliethermes has maintained a 3.89 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball on scholarship at the University of Oregon this fall.
Kliethermes has volunteered locally on behalf of the Special Olympics, food-donation drives and youth sports programs.
