The 5-foot-11, 165-pound senior right-handed pitcher, shortstop and catcher was the 2019 Great Basin Conference Player of the Year for the Bruins. Hofstetter compiled a .460 batting average with 45 runs scored, 21 RBI and 14 extra-base hits, while posting a .581 on-base percentage and .670 slugging percentage. On the mound, Hofstetter was 4-2 with two saves and a 0.62 earned run average, striking out 37 in 34 innings pitched. A two-time Idaho Select Team member with the Twin Falls Cowboys American Legion team, Hofstetter hit .380 with 57 runs scored last summer for the Cowboys and went 5-1 on the mound with a 2.21 ERA.
Hofstetter has maintained a 3.85 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a national letter of intent to play baseball on scholarship at the College of Southern Idaho.
Hofstetter has volunteered locally with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Magic Valley and as a youth baseball coach.
