“Madison was basically unhittable this season and shut down the top hitters on every team she faced. She was able to work both sides of the plate and change speeds to keep them off-balance and increased her pitch speed over her junior year. Her ability to hit for power and lay down drag bunts made her very difficult to defend.”

The 5-foot-8 senior right-handed pitcher posted an 18-1 record in the circle with a 0.45 ERA this past season, leading the Knights (21-2) to the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Tournament championship game. Aughinbaugh struck out 241 batters in 14

Academic Achievement

Aughinbaugh has maintained a 3.87 GPA in the classroom.

Exemplary Character

She has volunteered locally at an animal shelter and with the Charles County Humane Society in addition to donating her time as a youth softball and basketball coach.
