The 5-foot-3 senior midfielder scored 28 goals and passed for 15 assists this past season, leading the Hillers (16-2-2) to the Division 1 state tournament round of 16 this past season. The Boston Globe Division 1 Co-Athlete of the Year, Recupero was also the Eastern Mass Girls Soccer Coaches Association’s Division 1 Player of the Year. A two-time Tri-Valley League Most Valuable Player, she participated in the High School All-American Game in South Carolina last December.
Recupero has maintained a 4.62 weighted GPA in the classroom. She has made a verbal commitment to attend Princeton University, where she will play soccer this fall.
A practiced pianist, Recupero has volunteered locally with Project Just Because, a non-profit organization that provides food, clothing and emotional support to people in need. She has also donated her time as part of fundraising campaigns to benefit breast and brain cancer research in addition to serving as a youth soccer coach.
