“Lydia had a lot of success in soccer, basketball and lacrosse, but she had no prior experience with running and racing—she just felt it would be fun to try this year. She has the heart of a lion and is one of the most competitive kids I’ve ever coached. She doesn’t just want to win, she needs to win.”
