The 5-foot-2 freshman raced to the Division 2 individual state championship this past season with a time of 18:48.9. Colasante also earned victories at the White Clay Creek Classic and the Delaware Independent School Conference championships, while placing second at the Six Flags Wild Safari Invitational and fourth at the Joe O’Neill Invitational.
Colasante has maintained an A average in the classroom. She will begin her sophomore year of high school this fall.
Colasante has volunteered locally on behalf of Ronald McDonald House Charities and youth lacrosse camps.
