The 6-foot, 185-pound senior outfielder, first baseman and designated hitter batted .562 with six home runs and 47 RBI, compiling an OPS of 1.686 this past season and leading the Warriors (22-12) to a berth in the Class 4A state final. Anderson also drew 36 walks and scored 51 runs. The state’s No. 5 prospect in the Class of 2022 as rated by the Prep Baseball Report, Anderson also reached base more than 67 percent of the time and struck out just once every 15.4 plate appearances.
Anderson has maintained a 3.92 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball on scholarship at Brigham Young University this fall.
A devoted parishioner within his church community, Anderson has donated his time by working with disabled and special needs students and has volunteered locally as part of multiple community cleanup initiatives, including weeding and gardening for elderly neighbors.
