The 5-foot-11 junior first baseman posted a .667 batting average with seven home runs and 37 RBI this past season, leading the Cubs (11-8) to the Independent School League Tournament championship game. A three-time First Team All-ISL selection, Touomou also scored 35 runs and stole 13 bases. She posted a .729 on-base percentage and a slugging percentage of 1.333.
Touomou has maintained a weighted 3.72 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.
The manager of her school’s basketball team, Touomou has volunteered locally as part of multiple fundraising campaigns to benefit blood cancer research. She has also donated her time distributing groceries to senior citizens in need in addition to serving as a youth umpire.
