The 5-foot-6 senior captured the Class 3A state title this past season, breaking the tape in a time of 18:13.0 to win by six seconds and lead the Blue Devils to an eighth-place finish as a team. St. John Kletter followed up as the state’s top finisher at the Foot Locker Northeast regional, crossing the line fourth to qualify for nationals, where she took 34th. She clocked a personal-best 17:19.86 to win the season-opening Bald Eagle Invitational.
St. John Kletter has maintained a weighted 4.00 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to run on scholarship at the University of North Carolina this fall.
A practiced musician with experience playing the piano, ukulele and guitar, St. John Kletter has volunteered locally on behalf of the Special Olympics and middle school cross country meets.
