Athletic Excellence

The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 6-foot junior guard had led the Patriots to a 21-0 record and a berth in the Class A West Region semifinals at the time of her selection. Nissley averaged 21.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.7 steals and 2.0 assists per game during the regular season. Also the 2021-22 North Dakota Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year, Nissley connected on 47 percent of her 3-pointers and 76.6 percent of her free throws through 21 games. She helped Century finish off a perfect regular season with a 34-point, 11-rebound effort in a 78-64 win over Minot High.

Academic Achievement

Nissley has maintained a weighted GPA of 3.97 in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.

Exemplary Character

Nissley has volunteered on behalf of senior living facilities and as both a youth basketball coach and camp counselor. She has also donated her time to multiple community service initiatives through her church youth group.
