The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 5-foot-8 sophomore right-handed pitcher and infielder was named the best player in the state by MaxPreps.com during the 2020 preseason. A two-time All-State selection and a member of the 2019 Class A All-Tournament Team, Gronberg concluded her sophomore year with a .570 batting average, 131 hits, 129 runs batted in, 31 home runs and a 1.096 slugging percentage in her prep softball career.
Gronberg has maintained a 3.94 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her junior year of high school this fall.
Gronberg has volunteered locally at Papa’s Pumpkin Patch and as a youth softball coach.
