The 6-foot-3 junior outside hitter led the SkyHawks to a 34-5 record and the Class B state championship this past season. Krause recorded 360 kills, 152 digs and 28 blocks, posting a hitting percentage of .418. A member of the U.S. Girls Youth National Team which won a gold medal at September’s U18 World Championships, she was named a MaxPreps Second Team All-American and was selected to both the Lincoln Journal Star Super-State First Team and the Omaha World-Herald All-Nebraska First Team.
Krause has maintained a 4.04 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.
A member of her school’s leadership council, Krause has volunteered locally on behalf of the Special Olympics, a nursing home and youth sports programs.
