The 5-foot-10 senior right-handed pitcher led the Bears (32-5) to the semifinals of the 2A state tournament this past season. McWhorter went 22-1 in the circle and did not allow an earned run all season while striking out 285 against just 31 walks in 124 innings pitched. She fired five no-hitters and compiled a 0.44 WHIP. She finished with a .483 batting average, 41 RBI and six home runs, recording an OPS of 1.445.
McWhorter has maintained a 4.08 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play softball at the University of Arkansas this fall.
A member of the Future Business Leaders of America, McWhorter has volunteered locally as a youth softball and basketball coach. She has also donated her time to multiple community service initiatives through Beta Club.
