The state’s 2016-17 and 2018-19 Gatorade Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Year, the 5-foot-8 senior concluded her prep track career with nine state championships and three state records. Also the state’s 2016-17 and 2017-18 Gatorade Cross Country Runner of the Year, Halladay is the state’s most decorated Gatorade Player of the Year as a runner with five awards. Borah High’s Nicole Nielsen won three in the late 2000s. Halladay clocked a time of 4:49.27 in the mile during this abbreviated spring season, which ranked as the nation’s No. 3 time among prep competitors. Her top mile time of 4:41.80 as a freshman ranks No. 35 all-time among prep competitors in the United States. She also holds the state record in the 1500- and 1600-meter run.
Halladay has maintained a 3.77 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to compete on an athletic scholarship at Brigham Young University.
A violinist in the Mountain View High school orchestra, Halladay has volunteered locally at an assisted living facility, where her father is an administrator. She has also donated her time with multiple community service initiatives through her church youth group.
