The 6-foot-1, 170-pound senior swept both hurdle events at the Class 3A state meet this past season, leading the Panthers to the team title. Brown’s winning time of 13.25 seconds in the 110-meter high hurdles ranked No. 2 nationally among boys prep competitors this spring. His season-best time of 36.49 in the 300 intermediate hurdles at the state meet ranked No. 13 nationally, while his runner-up performance in the 110 hurdles at Nike Outdoor Nationals secured him All-American honors.
Brown has maintained a weighted 3.02 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to compete at the University of Georgia this fall.
A member of his school’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Brown has volunteered locally as part of multiple community service initiatives through his church.
