The 5-foot-10, 140-pound junior forward led the Mountain Lions to an 18-2-1 record and the Class 4A state championship this past season. Ramos scored 29 goals and passed for 11 assists. He tallied the game-winning goal in Sierra Vista’s 2-1 win over Bonanza High in the state final, capping a four-game postseason in which Ramos scored nine goals. The Class 4A Desert League Offensive Player of the Year, he concluded his junior year with 48 goals and 24 assists in his prep soccer career.
Ramos has maintained a B average in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.
Ramos has volunteered locally as a youth soccer coach and has also donated his time to multiple community service initiatives through his church.
