The 6-foot-7 junior post averaged 17.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game this past season, leading the Wolves (17-1) to the Class 5A state semifinals. Betts connected on 80 percent of her shots from the field and also averaged 2.6 blocks and 1.9 assists. Ranked as the nation’s No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2022 by HoopGurlz, Betts is a three-time First Team All-State selection. She concluded her junior year with career totals of 1,116 points, 719 rebounds and 253 blocks.
Betts has maintained a weighted 3.68 GPA in the classroom. She has made a verbal commitment to play basketball on scholarship at Stanford University beginning in the fall of 2022.
Betts has volunteered locally with Project C.U.R.E., which prepares medical supplies to be sent to developing countries around the world. She has also donated her time to the Ronald McDonald House-Denver and as a youth basketball coach.
