Athletic Excellence

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound junior guard led the Democrats to a 14-3 record this past season, averaging 31.2 points, 10.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 2.2 steals per game. The state’s No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2022 according to Prep Hoops, Washington was a First-Team Portland Interscholastic League selection in 2020. He scored more than 40 points five times this past season and over 50 points once.

Washington has maintained a 3.54 GPA in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.

A top football prospect as well, Washington is ranked as the nation’s No. 31 linebacker in the Class of 2022 by 247 Sports. A participant in Self Enhancement, Inc., an organization dedicated to guiding underserved youth to realize their full potential, he has also volunteered locally through community cleanup projects.
