The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 5-foot-6 senior right-handed pitcher led the Cavaliers to a 37-1 record and a fourth-straight Select Division III state championship this past season. Anderson compiled a 30-1 mark in the circle with a 0.61 ERA, allowing just 53 hits while striking out 318 batters in 171 innings. Ranked as the nation’s No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2026 by MaxPreps, she also produced a .290 batting average with three home runs and 25 RBI. She concluded her six-year prep softball career with 129 wins, 1,398 strikeouts and six state titles.
The valedictorian of her class, Anderson has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play softball at the University of Georgia this fall.
Anderson has volunteered locally making handicrafts and playing games at a nursing home. She has also donated her time as a youth softball coach and as part of multiple community service initiatives through her church.
