The 6-foot-8, 215-pound sophomore guard led the Pumas to a 30-1 record and the Open State Tournament championship this past season. Peat averaged 19.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.3 steals per game, and dropped 35 points in Perry’s 74-58 win over Sunnyslope in the state final. Ranked as the nation’s No. 3 recruit in the Class of 2025 by ESPN.com, he concluded his sophomore year with 1,055 points in his prep basketball career.
Peat has maintained a weighted 3.44 GPA in the classroom. He will begin his junior year of high school this fall.
Peat has volunteered locally with the Komatke Branch of the Boys and Girls Club on the Gila River Indian Community reservation. He has also donated his time fundraising for multiple families as part of Christmas tree and toy drives.
