The 6-foot-6, 205-pound senior small forward has led the Warriors to a 42-1 record and a berth in the GEICO High School Basketball Nationals, scheduled to begin March 29. At the time of his selection, Johnson averaged 22.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.2 steals through 43 games. A McDonald’s All-American Game honoree, he was one of 10 semifinalists for the Naismith Prep Player of the Year and is ranked as the nation’s No. 7 prospect in the Class of 2018 by ESPN.
Johnson has maintained a 3.71 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball on scholarship at the University of Kentucky beginning this fall.
A dorm leader at Oak Hill, Johnson has volunteered locally with multiple community service initiatives through his church.
