The 5-foot-10, 150-pound senior hurdler and sprinter set a national record in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles at the USATF Under-20 Championships this past season, smashing the old mark by 0.18 seconds with a time of 49.20. Davis also ran the anchor leg for Carroll’s 4x400-meter relay team that won the gold at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor. He also won the 300-meter intermediate hurdles at the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Championships in 36.16, which ranked No. 11 nationally among prep boys competitors this spring. His season-best in the 400-meter dash of 46.86 ranked No. 48 nationally and his top 200-meter dash time of 21.04 ranked No. 69.
Davis has maintained a 3.83 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to compete on scholarship at Texas Tech University this fall.
Davis has volunteered locally with the Humane Rescue Alliance and the Archbishop Carroll Food Pantry. He has also donated his time to the Special Olympics and as an Archbishop Carroll student ambassador.
