The 5-foot-10 sophomore right-handed pitcher led the Royals (31-2) to the Class 4A state championship this past season. Rothrock posted a 24-2 record with a 0.13 ERA, allowing 40 hits and just six walks in 160.1 innings pitched, while striking out 364 batters. A First Team All-State, All-Conference and All-County honoree, she also batted .442 with three home runs and 21 RBI. She was ranked as the nation’s No. 2 prospect in the Class of 2023 by Extra Inning Softball and was selected to play in the Premier Girls Fastpitch Futures All-American Game in July.
Rothrock has maintained a 4.03 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her junior year of high school this fall.
Also a talented artist, Rothrock has volunteered locally on behalf of Servant’s Heart of Indy, Riley Hospital for Children and youth softball programs.
