“Kayla's heart of gold that makes her a phenomenal athlete and a coach's dream. Kayla Cappuzzo is a member of the National, Science, and Spanish Honor Societies maintaining a G.P.A. of 93.69. Kayla is also a member of the science club and the AHA (Athletes Helping Athletes) Club. She is well respected and loved by the faculty, student body, and the administration. Kayla has led the Calhoun Colts to the Nassau County Finals 3 years in a row. Kayla was named Player of the Year for the Class AA, for the Albertson Club Team, and for Long Island. An All-American selection by the NSCAA, Kayla is also a member of the U-18 Women's National Team. However, it's not just the stats that make this player outstanding.
