She is very capable of beating a player on either side, with her left foot or right, and because of that, opponents need to have two or more players ready to help defend against her at all times.”

Athletic Excellence

The 5-foot-4 senior forward scored 36 goals and passed for 21 assists this past season, leading the Admirals (20-1-1) to the Class 6A state quarterfinals. The state’s returning Gatorade Girls Soccer Player of the Year, Smith is a three-time Sun Herald South Mississippi Player of the Year and a First Team All-State honoree. She concluded her prep career with 124 goals and 69 assists.

Academic Achievement

Smith has maintained a 3.88 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer on scholarship at the University of Mississippi this fall.

A devoted member of her church youth group, Smith has volunteered locally on behalf of a food bank, coastal clean-up initiatives and youth soccer camps.
