The 5-foot-8 senior setter recorded 883 assists and 172 digs this past season, leading the Blue Jays (26-7) to the Class A state quarterfinals. Selvig also compiled 136 kills, 43 service aces and 34 blocks while posting a kill percentage of .410 and a hitting percentage of .370. The Western Dakota Association Player of the Year, Selvig was a First Team All-State selection. She concluded her prep volleyball career with 1,757 assists.
Selvig has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom and ranks No. 1 in her class. She remains undecided upon a collegiate destination.
A long-time member of the Jamestown High student council, Selvig has volunteered locally as a youth volleyball coach, and she has donated her time as part of multiple community service initiatives through her school’s Key Club.
