The 5-foot-4 senior forward led the Bowmen to a 16-2-1 record and the Class 6A state championship this past season. Fried scored 17 goals and passed for seven assists. The Oregonian's Class 6A Player of the Year, Fried is also a two-time First Team All-State selection and a three-time Three Rivers League First Team honoree. She concluded her prep soccer career with 40 goals and 21 assists.
Fried has maintained a 3.94 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play soccer on scholarship at Oregon State University beginning this fall.
Fried has volunteered locally on a community beautification project and as a youth camp counselor. She also sponsors a child in Rwanda, supplying him with food, clothing and an education. "Kaillen was instrumental in winning the state championship this season," said Kale Dwight, head coach of Tualatin High. "She was an on-field presence that couldn't be ignored. She was absolutely fantastic."
