The 5-foot-7 senior right-handed pitcher led the Raiders (35-4) to the Class 4A state finals this past season. The state's Gatorade Softball Player of the Year as a sophomore, Jensen owned a 31-2 record and a 0.94 ERA in the circle along with a .438 batting average, 11 home runs and 39 RBI at the plate. She struck out 386 batters and walked just 24 in 209.1 innings pitched. The three-time Northern Nevada Player of the Year, Jensen is also a three-time First Team All-State honoree.
Jensen has maintained a 3.91 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball on scholarship at the University of Nevada this fall.
Jensen has volunteered locally on behalf of the Nevada Humane Society and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. "She's been the best pitcher in the state for the last three years," said Shane Quilling, head coach at Carson High. "She throws in the low 60s, she's got a great rise ball and she can hit every part of the plate. I think the best thing was that she always pitched from ahead, controlled the count and kept the batter guessing."
